Poster / Image Information

How do I order my poster?

To create your own personalised poster from us whether it’s a birthday gift, Christmas present or gift to yourself is simple. Please select the design you want (portrait or action) in your chosen sport, upload your image, enter the details you would like on the design and let us do the rest.

How do I submit an image?

You can upload your image directly to the site or use our Be The Star Posters App to create your image and upload via your camera roll.

If your image has come from an event we have covered the photography for, let’s us know after registering an account with us and we can add that events gallery to your account to have access to view. If at any stage you require help, contact us with the image number and we will happily add it to your order.

How do I get a perfect picture?

Please follow our guide, or alternatively if you have a professionally taken image, please upload that. (Please ensure you have the photographers permission)

What do you do with my image once uploaded?

The images you send to us are of paramount importance. They are stored safely on secure servers, and these images are never sold or used in any way apart from the permission given (the action / headshot / hero poster).

Can I have my design as a digital jpeg or PDF?

We currently do not offer your designs as digital JPEG or PDF’s. We do however offer reprints of the same design for £9.99.

I really love my design can I get a reprint?

We offer reprints of the same design for £9.99 to purchase as additional gifts as a flat fee.

Does my image have to be of a certain quality? 

Our posters are a great visual product that quickly become the talk of the room. Please note the end product quality of your poster will only be as good as the image provided. 

If you have a professional quality shot (action in high res) via a tournament you attended or we have covered an event you were at, this will give you the best results. For the portrait headshot posters, If you are using our app or you are uploading from your smartphone follow our guide for the perfect picture.

Do you take photographs I can use?

We cover all events across all sports from grassroots tournaments to corporate events including golf days and team building days. Contact us through our events page to see our availability for your upcoming event or upcoming tournament.

You have my team available in the licensed section but I cannot order an action poster?

We only offer our action poster designs when the quality of image will work at poster size. If your club is currently covered by us, please keep up to date with our social media accounts to find out when we will be at your club at a family event over the season where will be offering your teams action shots available to purchase. We will also be working with the clubs academies over the season.

Why do your poster examples on the site have watermarks on and will my poster have one?

Our poster examples on the site and via our social media accounts will always carry a watermark for extra copyright protection. The poster you receive will not have a watermark on.

You don’t offer the team I support in the licensed teams section?

Please let us know, we are in constant discussions with professional clubs and associations across all sports so will be constantly adding to our range. Please check out our News section to see our latest signings to be added soon.

Shopping / Shipping Information

What shipping methods are available?

Our orders are dispatched using Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. This will require a signature. Unframed orders will be in an envelope packaged in a small box for added protection. Framed orders will arrive in small boxes for added protection. You can find all our delivery details and delivery options here.

How long will it take to get my poster?

We strive to get your poster to your door from start to finish within 5-7 days however, please do allow up to 14 days for your personalised item to arrive.

Can I order more than one copy of the design?

Yes, of course. Reprints of the same design are available for £9.99. Please drop us a message with your request.

Do you ship internationally?

Please contact us with your requirements. 

Do I see my poster before you send it?

Our team of Be The Star Posters designers will deliver the best result we can before sending to print. If we don’t feel the image will do your order justice, we’ll be in touch.

My poster hasn’t arrived, its been over 14 days?

When your order is dispatched you will be sent an automated dispatch email which will contain your Royal Mail recorded Reference number. On the rare occasion you haven’t received your email please contact us and we will happily update you on the status of your order.

If there is an issue with an image uploaded we will inform you immediately to save delay on your order.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all standard debit cards – visa, maestro, etc. We also accept PayPal. If your preferred payment method is not available simply contact us to see if we can help.

Is buying on-line safe?

Yes. Our site is secure with HTTPS (you can see with the green lock in your browser bar). Also, we do not store any credit card information or credit card transactional detail on our website. We use one of the most trusted gateways for payment processing – SagePay, alongside Paypal. You can view our Terms of Use, or our Privacy Policy for further information.

Orders and Returns

How do I place an order?

Simply choose your product and upload the image you have taken with our app , using our guide, upload via your camera roll or computer or professionally – Fill in the required personalised information you would like on the poster and pay for the order, and we will do the rest.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes, you need to create an account to place an order. Sometimes we require you upload a new image for us to add to the order (if the first attempt didn’t quite make the standards necessary). This is much easier to do if you register an account with us at the time of checkout.

By having an account you can come back to any existing order and upload an improved image if needed without the need to go through the whole process again.

Who should I contact if I have any queries?

You can contact us very easily using any of the methods listed on our contact page. This includes image queries, events, returns. orders, etc. We will be more than happy to help you through any questions you have.

How can I cancel or change my order?

If you would like to cancel or change the order please contact us through your account that will contain your existing order. We will immediately cancel the order and refund you if your order has not started the design process or sent to print. We cannot change or cancel the order once it has been sent to print.

What if my poster arrives damaged?

We endeavour to protect our posters as best as possible, however there will be times (frustrating we know!) that items are damaged in transit. Please contact orders@bethestarposters.com with details and a picture of the damage and we’ll get a replacement sent out ASAP.

My poster design has a mistake?

Here at Be The Star Posters we will try our upmost to get everything right all of the time. However, there may be rare occasions where mistakes happen and we will hold our hands up and apologise if it’s our fault! 

We will rectify the error and re send the correct poster out immediately. If the error was submitted that way we unfortunately cannot replace the item as we will of carried out the instructions given. If you realise you have entered a mistake we will try our best to rectify it if you let us know before the order has been designed or printed.
